Is there is any power for positive thinking?

A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health, and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words, and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. It is quite common to hear people say: “Think positive!”, to someone who feels down and worried. Most of people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they really mean, or do not consider them as useful and effective. Not everyone accepts or believes in positive thinking. Some consider the subject as just nonsense, and others scoff at people who believe and accept it.

Positive and negative thinking are both contagious. All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through thoughts and feelings, and through body language. People sense our aura and are affected by our thoughts, and vice versa. People are more disposed to help us if we are positive, and they dislike and avoid anyone who have negative thinking.

In reality, there is no clear answer yet on whether positive thinking can keep you healthy or happy in any relationship or in love or job. However, emotion can affects us, but still there is no one can has a 100% positive thinking.

We need to have a positive thinking in most of our thoughts. I think if we can increase our positive thinking, we will be much better in our life. Because if we think only negative, we can not succeed in our life. So, we should work hard to improve our positive thinking to be happier and at the same time in good health. The more we thinking positive, the more we enjoy and love our life.

In conclusion, I would like to encourage people who thinking negatively, to start change their ways or thoughts to positive thinking. Then, they will see the different in their health, love, relationship, and work how is going to change. So, we need to think positive because there is power from positive thinking.

Happiness and Health

As I read in the Laughing Guru, laughing is very important to our health. We all want to be healthy and in good shape. Many people don’t know how to laugh or even why to laugh? Laughter is a funny thing. Can makes people smile and helps them to be healthier and well-being at the same time. When people laugh, they exhale more than they inhale. That is very beneficial to everybody health. It can makes a person in good mood and high self-esteem. Even without no reason, still makes people feel well-being. We can learn from laughter a lot of things and at the same time it will helps us to be healthier. We can fight for any disease like cancer by laughing. It is very important to laugh because laughing helps us to forget our pain, stress, and pressure. It can impact on the mind influences various functions of the body and makes us healthier. A lot of benefit from laughing. So, we need to laugh, even if there is no reason to laugh about, but still can do something.

The more we laugh for no reason, the more we will have the ability to fight for any disease can attack our body. Kataria claimed, “Patients with multiple sclerosis who laughed regularly,” “had a lot of improvement,” “Asthma patients-- they have benefits.” (84). We can improve our immunity by laughing. We just need to give ourselves chance to practice laughter yoga. And we are going to get better. Sometimes, I laugh without no reason, and when I stop laughing I feel relief, and in good mood. So, what about people who have diseases and there is a little hopes to survive? There is no doubt that 100% from these people will get benefit from laughing. I have an example for that. I have an interview with my cousin who used to has a cancer in his blood (Leukemia). Whenever I see him, he always laughing even that he knows he can die at any time, but he still laughing. there is always smile in his face. Sometimes I see him laughing for no reason, and I never ask him why he laughing. He used to takes a chemotherapy, and we all know how painful this medication. Anyway, after he finished taking his medication, he started to feels better. After he became in good health, I asked him why he was laughing for no reason. He answered me:“Because I know that I can die at anytime, but at the same time when I feel depressed, I start to laugh then my mood change suddenly.” This was a great example how laughing can improve our health and makes us feel better.

Laughing can change our mood. It can change from negative mood to positive mood. When we have any problem in our lives, we feel depressed. By laughing our mood will change from negative to positive because laughing is fun. In 2002, Charles Schaefer, a psychologist at Fairleigh Dickinson University, studied how forced laughter affected the state of mind of students. He noted that “adults who act happy for a minute a day are likely to elevate their mood.” (81). We can have a fake laugh for just to feel good. That will helps us to change our mood to positive. Most people are moody, they always up and down from good mood to bad mood. So, by laughing we forget that which mood we were have before we laughed. It is very beneficial to our health and helps us to be happy most of the times.

Laughing can decrease our pressure and stress. We always have a pressure in our life, especially at work, home, and school. We need something to relief this pressure and stress. Laughing is the key because when we laugh, we feel much better and that helps us to be happier and healthy at the same time. As Reggie wells said: “A stress lifted from my soul.” “It lifted from my body.” (78). That shows us by laughing we relief our stress and pressure because laughing makes our body feel happy. Laughing is playing an important role in our body. In our life we need to laugh because a lots of problems can happen from stress and pressure. So, it is very easy, just laugh even if a fake laugh still helps.

In addition, in 2002, Charles Schaefer, a psychologist at Fairleigh Dickinson University, studied how forced laughter affected the state of mind of students. He noted that "adults who act happy (broad smile; hearty laugh) for a minute a day are likely to elevate their mood." (81). Laughing is really affects our mind, even if we laugh a minute a day still can change our mood from negative to positive. We can't control our mind, but by laughing everyday, even there is no reason to laugh, that will helps us to be healthier and at the the time happier.

In conclusion, happiness is related with health, and laughing is very important to by in good health. We only need just to pretend that we laugh or fake laugh. It will helps us to be in good health and get rude of our stress and pressure from life. And protect us from any disease can attack our body.

Happiness and Health

Happiness always can cause to a healthy body. We all love to be healthy and in good shape. Happiness can come from laughing. Sound weird, but it is true. Many people don’t know how to laugh or even why to laugh? Laughter is a funny thing. Can makes people smile and helps them to be healthier and well-being at the same time. Also, when people laugh, they exhale more than they inhale. And that is very beneficial to anybody health. I like when Kataria said: “Laughter is a funny thing. Even in the eyes of modern science, it remains mystifying, in part because it is so difficult to study.” (80). Laughter is very beneficial for the whole body. It can makes a person in good mood and high self-esteem. Even without no reason, still makes people feel well-being. We can learn from laughter a lot of things and at the same time it will helps us to be healthier. We can relief the stress we have by laughing, even if there is no reason to laugh about. We can fight for any disease like cancer by laughing. It can impact on the mind influences various functions of the body and makes us healthier. A lot of benefit from laughing. So, we need to laugh, even if there is no reason to laugh about, but still can do something.

Laughter is a funny thing. “ You don’t have to wait for anything to happen-- no jokes, no humor, no comedy required.” “Just laugh.” Kataria said. (80). We need to laugh as much as we can to relief our stress. Life is full of events, and it is mostly not good events. We need to laugh even if there are no jokes, or reason because the more we can laugh, the more we can be healthier. It is very beneficial for our body systems. If we did not laugh enough, we will die earlier because laughing is likes food, we can’t lives without it. In 2002, Charles Schaefer, a psychologist at Fairleigh Dickinson University, studied how forced laughter affected the state of mind of students. He noted that “adults who act happy for a minute a day are likely to elevate their mood.” (81). That is mean if we have a fake laugh, we will be healthier and we will be in good mood. It is very important for every one's to laugh in his/her life because laughing helps us to forget our pain, stress, and pressure. Also, will makes us happier and lives longer.

I have a cousin who used to has a cancer in his blood (Leukemia). He answered me because I know that I can die at anytime, but at the same time when I feel depressed, I start to laugh then my mood change suddenly. In conclusion, this was a great example how laughing can improve our health and makes us feel better.

Happiness is always a by-product. It is probably a matter of temperament, and for anything I know it may be glandular. But it is not something that can be demanded from life, and if you are not happy you had better stop worrying about it and laugh because the more you laugh, the more well-being you will have. People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness, and they tries to find where is happiness and where is can be the full satisfaction. Indeed, laughing is the power to be happy because if we lives our life only busy seeking for happiness, we will never find. That's why the more we laugh, the more we feel healthier and the more we lives longer. In another way laughter yoga is very important because it leaves people with high oxygen levels in the blood and brain. And helps for providing feelings of vitality, and greater mental clarity.

Although there are a lot of stress in our life, we have to laugh to protect our body from any danger. I think as Kataria told his trainee's that laughter yoga "is based upon the scientific fact that, even if you laugh for the sake of laughing, even if you are pretend laughing, your body cannot tell the difference." (80). If we laugh even fake laugh, we will feel happy because our body can't recognize if that fake laugh or not. So, we have to train ourselves how to laugh.

In conclusion, happiness is related with health, and laughing is very important to by in good health. We only need just to pretend that we laugh or fake laugh. It will helps us to be in good shape and get away our stress for life. And protect us from any disease can attack our body.

Happiness May Come With Age, Study Says

It is inevitable. The muscles weaken. Hearing and vision fade. We get wrinkled and stooped. We can’t run, or even walk, as fast as we used to. We have aches and pains in parts of our bodies we never even noticed before. We get old.
It sounds miserable, but apparently it is not. A large Gallup poll has found that by almost any measure, people get happier as they get older, and researchers are not sure why.
“It could be that there are environmental changes,” said Arthur A. Stone, the lead author of a new study based on the survey, “or it could be psychological changes about the way we view the world, or it could even be biological — for example brain chemistry or endocrine changes.”
The telephone survey, carried out in 2008, covered more than 340,000 people nationwide, ages 18 to 85, asking various questions about age and sex, current events, personal finances, health and other matters.
The survey also asked about “global well-being” by having each person rank overall life satisfaction on a 10-point scale, an assessment many people may make from time to time, if not in a strictly formalized way.
Finally, there were six yes-or-no questions: Did you experience the following feelings during a large part of the day yesterday: enjoyment, happiness, stress, worry, anger, sadness. The answers, the researchers say, reveal “hedonic well-being,” a person’s immediate experience of those psychological states, unencumbered by revised memories or subjective judgments that the query about general life satisfaction might have evoked.
The results, published online May 17 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, were good news for old people, and for those who are getting old. On the global measure, people start out at age 18 feeling pretty good about themselves, and then, apparently, life begins to throw curve balls. They feel worse and worse until they hit 50. At that point, there is a sharp reversal, and people keep getting happier as they age. By the time they are 85, they are even more satisfied with themselves than they were at 18.
In measuring immediate well-being — yesterday’s emotional state — the researchers found that stress declines from age 22 onward, reaching its lowest point at 85. Worry stays fairly steady until 50, then sharply drops off. Anger decreases steadily from 18 on, and sadness rises to a peak at 50, declines to 73, then rises slightly again to 85. Enjoyment and happiness have similar curves: they both decrease gradually until we hit 50, rise steadily for the next 25 years, and then decline very slightly at the end, but they never again reach the low point of our early 50s.
Other experts were impressed with the work. Andrew J. Oswald, a professor of psychology at Warwick Business School in England, who has published several studies on human happiness, called the findings important and, in some ways, heartening. “It’s a very encouraging fact that we can expect to be happier in our early 80s than we were in our 20s,” he said. “And it’s not being driven predominantly by things that happen in life. It’s something very deep and quite human that seems to be driving this.”
Dr. Stone, who is a professor of psychology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, said that the findings raised questions that needed more study. “These results say there are distinctive patterns here,” he said, “and it’s worth some research effort to try to figure out what’s going on. Why at age 50 does something seem to start to change?”
The study was not designed to figure out which factors make people happy, and the poll’s health questions were not specific enough to draw any conclusions about the effect of disease or disability on happiness in old age. But the researchers did look at four possibilities: the sex of the interviewee, whether the person had a partner, whether there were children at home and employment status. “These are four reasonable candidates,” Dr. Stone said, “but they don’t make much difference.”
For people under 50 who may sometimes feel gloomy, there may be consolation here. The view seems a bit bleak right now, but look at the bright side: you are getting old.

    Blog # 5

The relationship between parents and their children is not like any relationship. In order to understand this relationship, we have to get a lot of knowledge and data to help us. Parents always think that the way they treat their kids is the right way, and they never give any chance for their kids to expresses their feelings. Why people have children? To make them suffer or to make them straggle in their lives. Most people assume that having children will make them happier. Yet a lot of experiment shows that parents are not happier than their childless peers, and many cases are less so. We need a lot of experience to know how to handle our kids, and to understand each others. Parents need to know how to love and sacrifice, and their children as well. parents need to learn what are the meaning of sharing and love, and their kids as well. Also, parents need to understand the meaning and pleasure in love to their children. All these steps will help both to understand each others and have a peaceful life.

Parents need to know how to love and sacrifice for their children. A few generations ago, people were not stopping to contemplate whether having a child would make them happy. And we are lucky today because we have choices about these matters. But the percentage of choices- whether to have kids, when, how many-may be one of the reason parents are less happy.some studies found that every successive generation was more put out by having them than the last-our current one most of all. Even more surprisingly, they found that parents’ dissatisfaction only grew the more money they had, even though they had the purchasing power to buy more child care. “And my hypothesis about why this is, in both cases, is the same.” says Twenge (63). Parents need to sacrifice by giving their kids all the tension, and time to understand them more. And to makes them happier because kids are the source of the joy. As Gilbert said after he finally got around having a child:”They are a huge source of joy, but they turn every other source of joy to shit.” (63). Also, children need to sacrifice for their parents especially when they get older. Parents at this time needs their children helps. So, they have to works together to makes balance and be happier.

Parents need to learn what are the meaning of sharing and love. Sharing is not only share in conversation or share in thinking. Sharing is more than these things, Is it sharing in feeling, emotion, and thoughts. Young parents, especially first- times, may get upset when they see that their two -years-old wants to keep his toys to himself. at which age does sharing become a socially appropriate behavior and how can you encourage your children to share? we should teach our kids that sharing even if they very young is very important, and the only way to makes them understand that is by learning how to share. Try to play with them and helps them sharing their toys with another kids. Also, children should share with their parents there feeling, and the life events because that will helps both to understand each others and be well-being. Love and sharing are very helpful for successful life. If some one live away from people, he will never enjoy his life. And he will never find a meaning for life because love is coming from many different methods and one of them is sharing. We need to understand how to share with others to have a wonderful life and better future, and successful company. In conclusion, sharing with others is the root for happiness and the best way to makes our kids have compassion in their lives.

Parents need to understand the meaning of pleasure and love. they need to teach their kids how to love others and be friendly with every one. Pleasure is the well satisfy, any one's want to have a pleasure with his children. And understand each others to makes their lives much better. Parents need to learn how to makes their kids very satisfy and give them all the efforts to succeed in their lives. Also, children need to helps their parents how to makes fully satisfy. As lord Byron said:” Without a meaningful foundation to the relationship that goes beyond immediate gratification, it is impossible to sustain happiness.” (116). parents and children have to work together to make it happen, and to feels pleasure and happy.

In conclusion, the mean important thing in any relationship is to have love and passion. Having people about whom we care and who care about us to share our lives with-to share the events and thoughts and feelings in our lives-intensifies our experience of meaning, consoles us in our pain, deepens our sense of delight in the world. Lord Byron said. (111). I encourage every child to learn how to behave with his parents, to live in better life and become more well -being.

Spending more time with loved ones

We all love to spend most of our time with the person we love. It can be someone's from our family, friends, or boyfriend and girlfriend. The best time ever in my life, when I spend time with my family. I feel warm and there are no problems in my live. I love to be very close to them and enjoy their companies as much as I can. When I travel some where, I feel sick and I can't stay away more than a week. Time with family is priceless, I don't think that anyone's else can give love more than my family. Everybody are different. Some people like to spend their times with friends or boy/girlfriends. So, everyone's has his own way to find his joy and well-being. Anyway, spending a little time with my family, can show them how I care about them and how I love them.
